I had good vibes about Ollantaitambo. It's a bit touristy, but it's also friendly, it's where people take the train to Aguas Caliente and it's also where you can visit the Inca site and take on the views. I came back twice after the first visit (to and from Machu Picchu) and felt comfortable there. |

It seems much more relaxed and laid back than Cuzco. | SLLiew Sat Nov 25, 2006 07:10 UTC Very colorful souvenir :) | Bwana_Brown Sat Nov 18, 2006 22:06 UTC Thanks for this insight into Ollantaitambo! The setting is amazing and it must have been great to actually climb to see those Inca structures up-close. Beautiful photos of your time there! |
