Msida is a harbor town in the West of Malta. Its name comes from an Arabic word meaning "a fisherman's dwelling". The lower part of Msida lies at the outlet of a valley and is a fulcrum for heavy traffic going to Sliema, Valletta, Birkirkara. To make matters worse, St Luke's Hospital is in the area so traffic gets worse during rush hours..
There is not much tips to give about this area, since its a very residential area.
I would say that the nicest part of it is the church and the surrounding areas. That s why I am showing you this photo.
This area has a very interesting and unique history , will do some research about it and load it here soon. |
