Traffic in Rome is chaotic. Be careful how you cross the roads ..drivers on scooters/bikes drive like crazy. A common scene , is seeing police cars with whaling sirens zapping thru the traffic too.

Everyone warns you about pickpockets. So be careful especially in crowded area , close to museums,stalls and metro stops. When I was in Rome, I did not have any problems..... so with some extra care one can easily avoid trouble!

I love Piazza Navona too;it is my favorite square in Rome. Thanks for pointing out the Pincio. As you described I'm one of the tourists who just stoped at Pza. del Poppolo and didn't go see the Pincio. |
