Maui felt like my home away from home | Rippling Waves of the Ocean in Maui |
Maui called my name. It is breathtaking in its natural splendor. I do love Oahu, but the island of Maui, to me, is what a Hawaiian paradise is truly all about. Everyone is totally "chilled out" on Maui. I think I had my spirtual awakening there.
My friend and I had an easy drive around the island. Walked around the quaint little town of Lahaina. Shopped in the fragrant aromatherapy boutiques and ate some incredible seafood. My favorite thing of all was swimming in the magificent ocean. I could have fallen asleep on the easy flow of the waves, but I would've been swept out to sea, if I had gotten anymore relaxed. |

| Pros: | "So much beauty. I loved the aroma of plumeria and jasmine in the air." | | Cons: | "We were there just a few days after "9-11". There was a feeling of concern all around us, but we still enjoyed ourselves with prayers in our hearts." | | In A Nutshell: | "Peaceful Living in Paradise." |
