Local "motorbike-bus"

In the countryside, and if you happen to hang around a country area, you may find useful and fun to use this collective means of transportation that stops along the road wherever you want. It is super cheap (a few 100 of riel, it depends on the distance). and when one goes to its final destinatition before returning, another one picks you up. Of course no schedule but frequent passages.
A great way to mingle with the local people.

Fast Boat

Whether it be On the Mekong River or on the Tonlé Sap, you can use the FAST BOATS. They are mainly used by tourists and they are a convenient way to get around Cambodia at 50Km/h average speed .
However here is my advice. If it is not raining you will probably want to spend the ride on the roof in the open air as the air con inside is set on "freezing cold" most of the time!!!
The problem is that the engine makes a deafening noise therefore: TAKING EAR-PLUG WILL MAKE YOUR RIDE MUCH MORE CONFORTABLE AND ENJOYABLE.
