OVER AND OUT

Home, sweet home

I'm not a homy person at all and as soon as I can I try to get out. My 7 month old dog, Milla, isn't either. She loves jogging alongside my Mountain bike whilst I'm cycling.

My dearest dream : an endless freefall

Skydiving is my greatest passion ever. The utmost freedom, you enter an amazing new world. I love the smell of kerosene in the morning, promise of more adrenaline. Have you ever seen snow darting upwards? Have you ever had the feeling of flying with your own body only? Have you ever felt 3 shots of adrenaline exploding in your body within 45 seconds, have you ever had the feeling of thorough freedom? I wouldn't be able to live without parachuting....never!
Gap/Tallard is my favourite Drop zone. Check it out on my Gap page

Whitewater sports

Another of my great passion is Canyoning. France has got some wonderful spots to enjoy this sport. walking, swimming, jumping and abseiling in the core of prinstine canyons with a bunch of good friends is so much fun!!! What I particularly like in canyoning is the combinaison of a sport activity with opportunities to amazing nature sightseeing.
I will give out some good spots to practice later.
Whitewatersports are a passion I share with my brother who is in the French canoëing team.
Look at him in the corner of the attached photo !!!!

Stamina and adrenaline.

The great thing about mountain biking is the possibility to enjoy nature, make a healthy physical effort, work out your endurance and get a flow of adrenaline on steep rocky or muddy downhills!!!
My bike is also my favourite travel mate (cycling Ireland, the west indies, vietnam , Cambodia and Great-britain, for instance).
Mountain biking remains my favourite way of travelling : you can take your time, travel a great deal of a distance, you are totally autonomous and you can reach virtually any place. Plus you really raise curiosity and cycling becomes a wonderful means of communication. I also like the idea of making a real effort to visit a country and show deep respect to the people I come to meet. I find cycling allows that too...

The adventures of Tintin

This character, whose stories I've been reading over and over since I was 5, probably carries a great deal of responsability in my passion for travelling. Thank you Hergé !!

Mr Pumpy !!!!!!!!!!!

During my cycling Trip in Cambodia, I happened to stay in a Guest House called " The last home" and I met....Mr Pumpy. Okay, anyone who surfed on the net to seek info about cycling in Asia is bound to have read some of his pages. Mr Pumpy is a great guy indeed, you can find, on his pages, good tips, updated info and for those who have cycled countries, a sense of humour that cannot be missed !!! Mr Pumpy is also a talented spiritual writer.
Where I got Lucky is that Mr Pumpy's best mate, Mr Felix, was there too. I hope one day Mr Felix will become a great friend. I enjoyed every minute of his company and his life insight. A great encounter indeed.
Now, to be totally honest with you, I intended to show a photo of the two guys just to boast about and say to the world : "I met Mr Pumpy !! how cool is that?" But I don't think I can do that.
I hope that one day as you wander about somewhere on Earth you'll bump into PUMP and Felix and have a nice chat over a beer with them.
Until then meet Mr Pumpy and Felix on their site

Future trips-NEWS

Dear All !
Another school year has started and therefore I have to go back to work after a wonderful 7 week trip in Thailand. Back to harsh reality I am already thinking of next summer's destination, always with my faithful Bicycle !!! In the meantime I''ll be enjoying other people's adventures and experiences.
Take care everyone !!
