+ It's neighbors are: Turkey, Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Armenia. Caspian Sea in north. Persian Gulf and Oman Sea in south.
+ It has about 70,000,000 population.
+ It mixed of a few ethnics, like Fars, Turk, Kurd, Arab, Lor, Balouch, Turkmen and ...
+ 99 percent of people are Muslim.
+ Most of people speak Farsi (Persian)
+ The government type is Islamic Republic.
+ It's money (currency) is Iranian Rial and Toman. 1 Toman = 10 Rials. and 1 US$ = 8150 Rials (the rate is flat)
+ It's a four season country. vast deserts, big mountains, nice beaches and jungles.
+ The capital is Tehran, a very big city with about 10,000,000 people living in it.

 Actually I should have crossed Iran a second time in 1989 but didn't get a visa although they kept the money. Someone told me that by that time women needed to wear a scarf on the pp photo but not before.

 Good tips Ali, I may prepare a trip to your country (well in a few months) and they are helpful. for alcohol, I comply everywhere to local customs. . .
