I was really looking forwards to visiting Halong Bay. I had seen so many pictures and read so much that it almost felt that I had already been there. |
|  | It takes about 3 hours by road from Hanoi to get to halong city. The scariest hours of my life. Vietnamese drivers are without doubt the worst in the world. I lost count of the near misses we had and lost count of the number of accidents we saw had happened. |
| | Our trip out into the bay was one of the best things I have ever done. The rock formations are awesome and my pictures do not do the place justice at all.
A place to visit if you have time. |
