Still with the heart of a traveller...

by ccmoira - last update: Jul 18, 2003

After a long absence

I have completed my BA and also, unfortunately, my stay in Rome. For a while I was in Austria and then I went up to Prague, which is why I found it hard to keep up with my pages (and my emails - sorry).
I was in Prague for three glorious and free weeks (free spiritually, not monetarily).
I will try to relate some of this experience on my pages in coming months. I never made it back to Dublin but I plan to go sometime next year - maybe Spring.
Now I am back in the U.S., in D.C. more specifically. But soon my boyfriend and I are planning a move, probably to Portland, Oregon.
Anyone who lives there and wants to give friendly advice, it would be appreciated.
We are also looking at San Francisco and New Orleans as possibilities.

Also...

I'm still looking into either studying oral history or working in that field - gathering stories, or transcribing stories.

I really have a passion for it but don't know where to begin. If anyone knows anything about this field, or knows someone who can help me out - email me!

Christina, Sounds like all your European adventures haven't caught up to your VT pages yet. Hopefully they will someday. Like seeing the promo for KY. Really a great state. Have a fantastic 23rd birthday! -Cheers

Wow. What an interesting life you have. Studying in Rome must be fabulous, and I also envy the "bumming aorund the Czaech Republic". That sounds great. Have a wonderful time!!!! Kent
