The 7 wonders of Sharjah

1. Carrefour. Not just a supermarket. It is at least 2 hours entertainment. Go early.

2. Mega Mall. Recently discovered. 4 floors inc. a rollercoaster, Early Learning Centre, Zara, Mango, and MUGG AND BEAN - the best coffee shop in Sharjah. And I don't care if it's American.

3. Almassa Cinema. Wednesday nights would not be complete without it. 25dhs. A wee bit nippy sometimes so get them to whack up the A/C or bring your Uggs. Modern, comfy cinema with all yer Hollywood tomfoolery.

4. The Corniche. For relaxing strolls and burning off those parathas.

5. Splash. Cheap, funky clothes. Sift through the racks for bargins.

6. Still thinking

Sophie1980, What can women in wear in Sharjah; how strictly enforced is it? I ask bcos I hope to work there in Sept. My friends want to visit, but I don't want to be arrested because of what they wore. Any help would be great. Thanks. Thanks, Mish
