My travels in Portugal took me from Lisbon to Guimaraes (birthplace of Afonso Henriques and of Portugal), then back down along the coast.
We travelled through Porto, Viseu, Coimbra, Leiria, Tomar, Sintra, East to Evora, and back to Lisbon before heading home.
Portugal is a fascinating country, with riches of castles, churches and museums. . .I'm surprised it isn't more heavily-travelled outside of Lisbon and the Southern Coast (but that worked in our favour). Excellent value for money everywhere we went.

Rossio is not Pr. Figueira. I hadnot to book to enter Quinta da Regaleira without a tour. Nice page. Ciao!
Beautifull pages!! Bye bye Tales
In fact, Praça da Figueira is a nearby square. Rossio is also known as Praça D. Pedro IV. Greetings from Portugal
Largo de Oliveria looks superb! Greetings from Australia and me.

I just want to say that Afonso Henriques was born in Coimbra, not in Guimarães. Congratulations for your great pages about Portugal!

Stevie Your hotel tips are very good ! They consist all species .....pensao, ibis, pousada etc... and some info about the region/city Rene...saw you passing by the VT page..
Not many torontonians know so well Portugal as much as you do... I think the majority will only recognise portuguese culture from Dundas St West..; ) quite impressive pages with a lot of valuable information.
