    • You shouldn't let a bit of rain stop you from coming to visit either Pushkin or Pavlovsk ~ the grounds are beautiful for walking and you'll be ensured of some quiet time here. However, be sure to bring an umbrella and sturdy shoes. . .the pathways are all dirt and get washed out very quickly. . .

    • It seems funny now (from a distance!), but there was a pack of wild dogs on the palace grounds during our visit. Security kept coming out and scaring them away, but they would return and aggressively threaten anyone near the building.

    Luckily for us, they stayed near the entrance. . .they never came out into the grounds (maybe they were waiting for food?).
