Bergerac should definitely be included on a trip in the Perigord (Dordogne) region of France.

Quiet, modest and unassuming, it's the type of quite town that sneaks up on you. . .we drove in for a quick look around and ended up staying for two full days.

An outrageous town. I love the architecture. And a playground for the wine nose crowd. I'm sure i'd fail on all accounts--but it would be fun anyway.
