Walk in the history of Kyoto Kyoto was founded in 794. It was modeled on a Tang Chinese city and is bordered on 3 sides by mountains.
The best walks I had during my stay in Japan were in the tiny streets of Kyoto. Although I got lost a few times by trying streets that were narrower and narrower, I still made it home at the end of the day ! |
