The Metro (Subway) Metro Review

Montreal subway system is very well developed, clean and fast.

You can get weekly pass, tourist card (1, 3 days) or six ticket strip which will make you save money (and time)

Each station has a different architecture and help you reach the main part of the town.

BTW, the musicians are not homeless or beggars ! They are professionals which need to pass a test to be allowed to play on a set schedule. They make a good living out of it. Check out the ones at Berri-UQAM, usually the best.

City Buses Buses Review

Montreal Bus system is pretty good. From any subway station, you can get a transfer ticket. Once arrived at the station of your choice, you can use that ticket to continue your route in a bus. The bus path is usually posted on the pole beside the stop.

Buses are heated in the winter but dont have A/C
