Boat cruise
The cruise is worth it during the day. At night, you miss all the scenery though.
The cruises come along with traditional dance and some food is available.
It's very short and quite crowded. Book your tickets in advance !
Fountain in Fontainhas
It's off downtown, but the best spot to take a walk and a good feel of the town. I spent 2-3 hours walking around, stopping in shops, the atmosphere is so laid back, I really felt like I was in Europe.
Try stopping in little cafe or Port Wine shops, it's worth it.
