Arches National Park is just a treasure trove of natural wonders. Full of great hikes and spectacular scenery, this park is really a must see. We only had 2 days in this wonderful place, but it was a enough to get a good taste of the area, we will definitely return for a more in depth exploration :)

While your in Arches, you will most likely be staying in Moab, a quirky little town just a few miles from the entrance to the park. There are lots of good restaurants, cute shops, and a fantastic bookstore. Enough to keep you occupied on the off chance it rains:)

Also very nearby is Canyonlands National Park and Dead Horse State Park. Both are spectacular in their own ways and worth a detour if you have the time.

An amazing place - I only had one afternoon here and it just blew me away. Both cameras had dead batteries, including the good camera's spare, after only four hours.

Great page on Arches. We stayed in the same motel and also visitid dead Horse point. Also went to the other parks you went to in South Utah. We were there in January 07 and it was really cold, but beautiful with the snow.
