Just got back from a little weekend visit to Philadelphia. It is so close, but I haven't spent much time here. I'm in the process of updating this page! |
| Dali at the Phila. Museum of Art |
| | Dali eludes us... We went for the sole purpose of seeing the Dali exhibit, but when we got there it was sold out! Very dissapointing! This exhibit is advertised ALL over town. On billboards, on buses, on flags decorating every lamppost...yet they only have available tickets on weekdays...sigh. We still had a very enjoyable time. The weather was perfect. We strolled all over town, saw the Liberty Bell and Independance Hall, had a lovely dinner at Rembrants, and went to the Mutter Museum, which houses medical oddities! |

Loved it very much especially the Reading Terminal Market... such yummy food in there.. hmmmm | Stephen-KarenConn Tue Apr 26, 2005 20:09 UTC Excellent overview of the "City of Brotherly Love." In my trips there in years past I somehow missed the Mutter Museum. Now I've got a great reason to return. |
