Scottsdale is a resort-like town, just outside Phoenix. it's a weathy suburb catering to the tons of golfers that come here for the many courses in town. It also has a shopping mecca of a downtown area, with many boutiques and art galleries.
We stayed in a gated community in the northern part of the city. It was very quiet and relaxing. We stayed here for the week using it as our home base and exploring as much of Arizona as we could. |

We also visited Scottsdale when we attended a wedding. We loved Taliesin. Scottsdale is a beautiful area but somewhat congested lately. Wonderful presentation. | morgandk Sun Dec 10, 2006 19:59 UTC
