Anyone remember those ridiculous commercials for Mt. Airy Lodge, with the champagne shaped jacuzzi? Well that stuff is real all right. Overpriced nonsense that makes you feel as though you stepped back into the 70's (this was probably the last time most of these rooms were redone as well) It was just sort of sad and pathetic. Not that I stayed in Mt Airy...I think the name was Penn's Hills... For a small fee they'll add an awful breakfast that you have to eat in an awful cafeteria. Now it was romantic because I was there with my sweetheart, but any Motel 6 or Econo lodge would've done. I have never stayed in the Caesar's in the photo. I included the pic for the champagne glass jacuzzi reference. My info is based on Penn's Hills where we stayed.

Alternative: There are some nicer resorts in the area I have yet to check out. The Fernwood resort looked quite lovely.
