Mesa Marriot: Extremely Comfortable Beds!
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]
  • Satisfaction:
  • On our most recent visit to Arizona, we stayed in the Marriot in Mesa. It had the most comfortable beds of any hotel that I have ever stayed in. And the pillows, all 5 of them on our kingsize bed, were just delightful. I also enjoyed the Bath and Body works aromatherapy shampoos, conditioners and lotions that were provided for us.
The Hotel is in a great location if you would like to explore the Apache Trail or go golfing in Scottsdale or even just stay in Mesa and check out some museums. It is also very close to Phoenix.

Unique Qualities: In the mornings on our way out, we would head downstairs to pick up Starbucks coffee at the bar (the bar served coffee all day and liquor, wine and beer in the afternoons and evenings.) It's just across from the check in desk. They have comfy seating and a TV if you want to get out of your room and watch a game (sports seemed to always be on the TV when we were there)
The gift shop towards the other end of the lobby is a good place to pick up a bottle of water or a snack.
It was too cold when we visited, but they also have a lovely pool and whirlpool spa.
Room service and a couple of resturants are your "in house" dining options. Room service can get very expensive. Lou sent me up some (very tasty) cookies and tea....it was over $20....

I did tell you about the time I was drunk, threw up while naked, backed my hiney up into the cacti on the sill from the forceful kickback, didn't I? This page is great.
