Venice is one of my favorite cities/places in the world (so far;) Every time I see this picture I sigh, and wish I was there. There is something indescribable about being there. It's just magical. I love wandering the little streets and alleyways, exploring where not all of the tourists are. I also love standing in San Marco square at sunset with all the pigeons flying silhouetted against the sky. |
|  | I have always been lucky enough to visit Venice in late winter when the place isn't teeming with people. It's nice to have a quiet moment in Venice. There are no cars so there are times when you here nothing but the lapping of water on the sides of the gondolas and up against the stone of the buildings. |

yes, Venice is an unique city... I'm so lucky I live so close to it so that I can visit there often :) |
