Miles of Sandy Beaches

Over 30 miles of wide open beaches on Cape Cod Bay, Wellfleet Harbor and Atlantic Ocean. Walk a few hundred yards and you have your own private beach. Great swimming, hiking, birding and fishing

Quaint Fishing Village

Last October we visited during the annual Wellfleet Oyster Festival and had a blast. Live music, food vendor stalls, shellfish on the shell and Bass on draft topped by a live oyster shucking contest. Fall is a great time to visit as the weather and water are warm but the crowds are gone.

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:Romantic fishing village with miles of open beaches
  • Cons:Restaurants crowded in July & August
  • In a nutshell:Real Cape Cod fishing village in heart of National Seashore

A beautiful seashore. The Cape is a great spot. Haven't seen Wellfleet in years.
