Culture and Chaos in the City

About the 20th of December i was Lucky enough to make a trip to San Francisco with my family. We stayed at the St. Francis, an amazing historic location. For our first adventure we took our lives into our own hands and ventured to Macy's three days before Christmas. That place was a mad house. The most beautiful thing I saw while in the city was the San Francisco Symphony perform Handel's Messiah. It was an amazing night. To start the night we all dressed up and headed to the Oak Room for a great dinner. Next we headed to the Symphony and then to a place called Farallon. To end the night, my little sister and I headed out to a four storey club to dance the night away. On our way back to the hotel we made a stop at the square and took in the beauty of the magnificent tree in the middle of the city.
The second day we walked to China Town and purchased lots of great trinkets to remember our trip by. The most sobering part of the trip was watching a funeral go by, which wouldn't be so strange except for the procession, which resembled a parade. It was a lesson in culture that I felt lucky to have been a part of.
This trip was amazing, I felt like I was in a fairy tale the entire time. The weather was great and we all had the best time.
