The picture you see is what people called "Jalosjos Island" in name of the controversial politician Romeo Jalosjos. It is 20 minutes away from Pag-asa, Bagac. Corals are conspicuous at the back of the island. But they are far more or less threatened by human activities in the area.

The municipality of Bagac is surrounded by long beaches and sandflats. Ecotourism is one of the source of income of the people here. Every summer, a lot of visitors from all over visit the place since it is ideal for swimming.

When we had our ocular visit in Bagac for our thesis, we were told by a local resident that there is a seacave located just 15 minutes away from our place. We thought of seeing some stalactites and stalagmites as what we often see in other caves. Much to our surprise we didn't see any rock formation that we thought of. What we saw were actually some boulders of rocks and Sargassum sp. Although it wasn't what we expected, we still have some fun as we dive to the blue lagoon.
