The Czech Republic and Spain are the only two places that legally sell Absinthe in Europe. If you want the real stuff (that supposedly made Van Gogh cut off his own ear) cough up the extra money for a bottle containing wormwood. The color should be a foggy green. These bottles should cost no less than $30. If you're more into the buzz/souvenir than the hallucinogenic qualities, grab a cheaper electric-blue bottle. TO DRINK: Soak a teaspoon full of sugar in Absinthe then light on fire. Stir the shot with the sugared spoon, extinguish, and shoot. Make sure to have water on hand for a chaser!
