Stuck on the freeway, Jesse's girl kept trying to punch the gas and I just turned up the volume to drown out the rolling Tuscan landscape. That first Campanian night, shellfish caused aphrodisiac hallucinations of rabid packs of sanddogs and killer bees stinging our faces. But we survived another curve in another road and avoided Naples by sheer luck and a lack of desire for pizza. |
| | An Aussie on a 50cc moped picked up an enemy, but we still had to climb halfway to hell just to see a duck follow some jerk around. Night fishermen found our pirate's cave but left our treasure undisturbed. |
Sunburns turned to gold and paper disappeared in clamshells and bottles of wine. Our boat sailed without us one morning, but we still felt like five-star gods. We couldn't bear the thought of our compass pointing North, so I kissed you hard because this would be the last time that you let me. | | |

BigAppleBabe Fri Mar 27, 2009 17:49 UTC I agree but these people are not Aussies. They are from England. Ciao! | jennib85 Sat Feb 28, 2009 19:43 UTC I stayed at Willy's and loved it! The hospitality was terrific - even made us dinner one night. It is quite a long hike up to the hostel, but the view is incredible and you get a shot of lemon cello half way up the hike. Definitely recommended! | gubbi1 Tue Jul 12, 2005 08:25 UTC Hi, so you also enjoyed the nice roads... we went there with a bus, which turned out to be a bit complicated. Fortunately I was not the driver, but just the traveller :))) Christian. | catalysta Sun Aug 8, 2004 15:23 UTC Wonderful!!! Must go soon, added your great tips to my Travelogues....cat |
