Stuck on the freeway, Jesse's girl kept trying to punch the gas and I just turned up the volume to drown out the rolling Tuscan landscape. That first Campanian night, shellfish caused aphrodisiac hallucinations of rabid packs of sanddogs and killer bees stinging our faces. But we survived another curve in another road and avoided Naples by sheer luck and a lack of desire for pizza. |

gubbi1 Tue Jul 12, 2005 07:25 UTC Hi, so you also enjoyed the nice roads... we went there with a bus, which turned out to be a bit complicated. Fortunately I was not the driver, but just the traveller :))) Christian. | catalysta Sun Aug 8, 2004 14:23 UTC Wonderful!!! Must go soon, added your great tips to my Travelogues....cat | nskin75 Mon May 17, 2004 02:24 UTC The view from Willy's is amazing. It is over 1,000 feet above the mediterrean with beautiful views. It takes 30 minutes to walk to Amalfi and the beach. It cost 7 Euros for a tent and 15 for a dorm bed. It is rustic yet beautiful. | jenn_d Wed Apr 14, 2004 23:24 UTC I was drawn to your page after seeing a pic on the VT homepage, enjoyed your style immensely. I've got to see this place...and soon! |
