"Soroti!!" Soroti District by Ps91

Soroti was sweet sweet home for a good 3 months last year and is just another one of those great little towns in the outbacks of Uganda. Not really a touristy place, but a great place to experience Ugandan culture and become 'victim' to their extreme hospitality. They call foreigners "muzungus" and you will find that the town has about 10-20 muzungus living there fulltime. It's totally hot, totally beautiful all the time! Brilliant blue sky, tons of bright coloured birds and beautiful flowers... It's very dusty and dry in comparison to the JInja and Mbale districts. All in all its a stunning location, full of friendly people, a great place to withdraw and enjoy lifes simple things

• Cons:If you are looking for an "exciting" time soroti isn't the place! The locals will definitely ALWAYS overcharge you...
