As a child I had seen a picture of Victoria Falls in National Geographic magazine and like George Bailey, had made up my mind that someday I would see it. Finally a consulting trip took me to Johannesburg, SA and I couldn't pass up the short hop to Vic Falls

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:Not many people get there - relatively uncrouded
  • Cons:A guide was killed by a hippo the first day I was there
  • In a nutshell:there are no words large enough to describe this place - it literally leaves you speechless
  • Last visit to Victoria Falls National Park: Mar 1996
