Hey All,

I'd like to give you all an update on my travels!! I've just been to New Zealand (Christchurch, Kaikoura, Akaroa, Nelson and Abel Tasman National Park). It was a great holiday! I have itchy feet to travel since i have come back...so where to next...well i plan to go to Port Douglas and The Whitsundays in March next yr...and then Europe in July and August. Most likely to be Italy, Switzerland, Norway, Croatia and Scotland to visit family and friends.

I was born in Lanark, Scotland. I have also lived in Kilwinning, Ayrshire and Motherwell, Lanarkshire.
From 2000-2003 my family and i lived in Quebec, Canada. We got the chance to move there with my dad's job. It was a great experience. I went to Quebec High School which was really great. I'd really love to visit again...but not sure which season to visit!!

I'm now in Brisbane Australia and have been since April 04...thanks to my dad...i am very lucky to move to such a beautiful country!

I work in Purchasing at an IT company which is interesting but i have always had an interest in becoming a fashion buyer...or a career in travel...tough decision! Anyways...please come back soon as i will be posting some new pics when i get back from NZ with my wonderful new Nikon digital camera...

My friend, Fiona and I at Stirling, Scotland

This is my friend, Fiona. I have known her since i was 3 yrs old. Fiona is 12 days older than me. I used to live across the street from her. She is a very good friend..likes her alcohol.lol! She is studying Zoology at Aberdeen University. This was the last time i saw her before coming to Australia.

My mum has travelled nearly everywhere with me. We've been to Melbourne together in Oct 06, we're going to New Zealand in November and we are going to Port Douglas and Cairns in April/May next yr...and of course we've travelled to all the other places which i have mentioned.

Here is a picture of my mum & I at the Winter Carnival in Quebec, Canada. We are enjoying some maple syrup which you roll on the snow.

The Quebec Winter Carnival is on from mid Feb till round about March. Everyone visiting should go at least once!! There is everything from free hot food & drink & you can watch the sculptures build everything from a fish tank to a polar bear...all made from snow!!

I walk along here sometimes. It's a great to walk past Eagle St Pier and through to the Botanic Gardens. You can see the City Cat boats pass and you can see the people walking on the bridge...so much to see and do so don't forget your camera and comfy walking shoes!! and slip, slap, slop!! (use suncream)

Lake MacKenzie, Fraser Island...the most beautiful spot on the Island!! I went there in Oct 2006
