Just proving that we were there. : ) | Bonnie and a Beefeater at the Tower of London |
Bonnie and I had a lovely visit to the UK back in October of 1983, which is before some of my present VT friends were even born.
SOMEDAY, I'll scan enough of my old slides to make a little British page here. But for now, let's just offer some photographic proof of our visit back in 1983.
I look forward to another visit to Britain someday, and I hope to meet up with many of my English VT friends. |

| | Headed across the Channel In the days before the Chunnel, you really only had two options for travel to continental Europe from Britain. You could fly, which cost more money. Or, you could take the hovercraft to Calais or the jetfoil to Oostende.
We opted for the Jetfoil.
Here is a very young pchamlis in the Dover train/hovercraft/jetfoil station. |
