"Vermont, New England at its best" Craftsbury by 850prc

Craftsbury Travel Guide: 1 reviews and 4 photos

Vermont Fall, nothing better!

The color, atmosphere and beauty cannot be beaten. Add maple syrup and roaring evening fires to this lovely scenery and it's romance at its best.

Covered Bridges....practical and historic

Most people thinking of Vermont would have to include "covered bridges" in the mental equation. Vermont has numerous historical covered bridges, as well as some more modern versions. The practical reason for building a covered bridge is to protect from the monsterous amounts of snow that grace the Green Mountains in the winter.

A state DEEP in history

Vermont has a long and rich colonial history. There is peace all around, and nowhere moreso than in an old town cemetary.

The Inn looks and sounds perfect...very decadant. I'm wondering if there is more to the story....you visited the cemetery, and...? would love to see more of a very beautiful state I don't visit often enough.

Yes, indeed. That cemetery looks like a model of quiet serenity.

Pete, this is such a beautiful part of Vermont - a perfect place to have a house miles away from your nearest neighbor.

Excellent introduction for a great state. The Inn looks beautiful, sounds great, and seems typical of this beautiful area.
