I wonder how many porn surfers I drew in with my nightlife tip title? :)

Well, this is a family tip, but it does involve getting all heated up. It can get quite cold in the evening at Uluru, especially in the winter. We visited in June of 2005, and it was below freezing at night. Almost all of the camping outfits will stop along the way TO the park, to allow participants to collect wood. You'll need the fuel for both cooking and a warm campfire.

Dress Code: Bring your warm coats and stay near the campfire when you're not in your sleeping bag.

You've added to my regret that we didn't make it here when in Oz ;( But great excuse to go back, eh? Love the photos especially - magic moon over the Olgas, sunrise etc

Pete, This time it's going to be an early "Happy Birthday & best wishes" as I won't be around until July (on vacation stateside). Australia was a big pleasure at the World Cup.
