Whipsnade is set in 600-acres of Chiltern parkland on Dunstable Downs. It has an amazing 2,500 wild animals many of which are free to wander in large paddocks, emulating their natural habitats. Lions, tigers, rhinos and bears can be seen in almost natural conditions.
It has a beautiful Steam Railway which takes visitors past rare breeds such as the White Rhino and Przewalski's horses.
Visitors may also drive their own vehicles through the parkland, seeing the animals close up, or take one of the regular shuttle buses through the park. So it's really up too you what you decide to do regarding transport you have alot of choice~~
