Catamaran race

Every year in June there's a race with catamaran boats around the Island of Texel. This year almost 600 boats were going to participate.

Unfortunately there was a lack of wind on the day of the race and that's why abou half of the boats didn't start at all.

The winner of the race had a time of 5 hours and 15 minutes, 3 hours slower than the record time, which was set the day before (!) in a test race. It just shows how quickly the weather and wind conditions can change on an island...
