A must for all Korean visitors to the Netherlands

Since the great World Championships in Football (I prefer the English official title from the US "soccer".. ) in 2002, the small town of Varsseveld has celebrated a remarkable boost in tourism - and almost all travellers coming from (South)Korea!
The reason: this town is the birthplace of Guus Hiddink, Korean's succesfull coach during the World Championships, and the start of his career. Ever since the first match started, the media got sight of this nice town, and since then.... interest hasn't ceased!

The town has done it's best to cater for the tourists: guides, private B&B's, a special museum for Guus (Guuseum), place names in Korean, a Korean Week last september, and even some announcements for festivals were "focussed" on the famous "village's son" (see pic). The town has really made something of this "chance occasion", and it's worth a visit only for that - also for non-Koreans!
