Sigulda is one of the most popular places in Latvia. In the autumn it is the nicest and then it is the place where a lot of Latvians go to enjoy all the colours of autumn.
It is also an important sports place since there is the only bobsleigh run in Latvia which also hosted European championships in 2003.

I am drawn to the ruined Teutonic period castle. Items from that era are most interesting to me. Knights, etc. Very cool indeed. Nice page, Pete
