When planning your trip to Fendels, especially for skiing, it's a good idea to check out the various websites for snow, weather, etc. I always like checking out the webcams, even when I'm not going there... :-)

Equipment: Skiing gear when you go there - but also a certain amount of common sense, to not get into avalanche exposed slopes and frozen ridges!

Skiing without stress

Especially outside the main season (Christmas and most of February) the slopes will be more or less deserted compared to the main resorts! And although the area is small, the variation is enough. Slopes go from 1400 to 2300m, and vary from easy blue to (almost) black. Regional passes can also be obtained, with more famous resorts as Serfaus and Nauders included. They can be reached by car within 30 mins, or by cable car and ski bus (free use with the pass!).

Equipment: If you have your own and come by car, just take it there. But it's not necessary - the local Sport shop has a good choice of ski, rodel and snowboardequipment for rent!

Directions: Turn off in Prutz, Upper Inn Valley (Oberinntal) halfway Landeck and the border. In Ried the cable car to Fendels can be accessed. Landeck has a train station with international connections.
