Include a visit here from the Beara peninsula - you will have to get into a rather old looking, rattling cable car crossing a small strait, but it's more than worth it!

Having only a few permanent inhabitants, I'm not sure if it has any seasonal cottages to rent - anyway, there is no B&B on the island itself, so it's good to keep an eye on the cable car in case you don't want to get stuck.

The mainland is always within view...

Great page on Ireland. I love islands! I took a pic in Alb, New Mexico of a street sign with direcetions of Chicago, New York, LA. It struck me as funny!
