The summertime heat. And Summer here is usually mid May to Mid October. The heat is vicous, especially if you're not used to this extreme. Always carry water with you if you can, and drink it. If you wait till you're thirsty, you are already starting to dehydrate. Also, a headache is one of the first signs of dehydration. Drink lots of water.

Although parking is free at the hotels, be advised that Harrah's now does not allow you to park in their garage unless you are a guest (and can show a room key) or you are a member of their slot club. My suggestion would be to valet the car, just remember to tip the runner, or park next door at the Imperial Palace.
