My Friend, The Pretty and Smart Lady (so she claimed), made a wish in front of the sacred Mount Meili couple years ago when she went to Yunnan. Now that her wish had come true (well if you are wondering what she wished for, you can keep wondering cuz I'm not gonna tell you~~ ^_^), she has to go back and thank the sacred mountain. And so I decided to go along because, its very dangerous for such a pretty lady to travel alone! (-_-")...

Anyways, Yunnan is such a pretty place! I had such a great time and It's too bad that I only got 6 days there, that I don't have time to go for all the places I wanted to go. And that's why I'm definitely coming back, especially if what I wished for comes true~~ ^_^

We arrived in LiJiang on our first day. Immediately we went to the LiJiang Old Town and I loved it. Such a beauty old town, and to my surprise, with so many nice bars and cafes. Please go and check it out in my LiJiang page

We found this nice, funny taxi driver the next day and he's gonna be with us for the next 4 days as we set out to go to ZhongDian and then to Deqin for Mount Meili.

ZhongDian was named Shangri-la by the Yunnan Government in 1997, meaning a heavenly, peaceful, uncontaminated place as described in James Hilton's novel "The Lost Horizon". So I was hoping to find these big blue lake surrounded by green grass, with horses running, little lamb resting... well... I guess thats the wrong season to go if I want to get all these, there's no greeen grass.. never seen any lakes...

Deqin was our last stop. The road trip to Deqin was so much fun! Its like we experienced 4 seasons in a single day! And the great thing is~ we did see Mount Meili!! Yeah!!!
