Central Karon Village set on the steep hillside right above Karon beach. If you want quiet life but not too far from the exciting patong area, this is your choice. Karon Beach is just 10-mins walk away, and patong is 10-mins tuk tuk away.

Unique Qualities: The villas are all sea facing but with the densely growing trees, some villas might not get a very good look at the ocean. The private terrace is large, with sun beds and stuffs for you to relax and enjoy the great view. The sloping pathways and stairs all over the resort will be a real task if you live at the top and u need to go all the way down to the pool and then back up again, but then u can always call for the little cars to take u around but we never did that.

Unique Qualities: The room is comfortable, with wooden floorboards and huge beds. The yellow bathroom is spacious and with some nice personal touch the fish bowl and a nice plant. Full-length glass windows and doors access to the terrace and the way out is great, and allow you to enjoy the view in the air-conditioned villa.

Both the restaurants, The Cliff and BayView offers great views. Bayview's breakfast is okay with average choice but the relaxing atmosphere is what it is really all about. I've never tried the cliff but i heard that it's kinda expensive.

Unique Qualities: The pools are a little bit small, it would be kinda crowded if the hotel's fully booked, but at the time of our stay, not a lot of ppl so we can get some nice seats to get some nice tan.

The staff are all very nice and helpful. Our front door lights and room air-con were always turned on when we came back in the late nite. They initiated help when we encountered some difficult situation with our day-trip travel agent, which are really really nice!!

I didn't have chance to live in the Evason but went there for a spa treatment after searching on web and found that it has the best location for outdoor massage.

Six Senses Spa is a luxury spa in Evason Phuket Resort, at a quiet south eastern side of Phuket near Rawai Beach. Individual and couple treatment rooms are availible. The most spectacular feature, and the reason why i choose to have my spa here, is the 4 treatment sala set on the spa terrace facing the Andaman Sea, as shown on the picture.

I had my polish and facial in a indoor room and my massage at one of the open sala. It was really amazing... you hear birds singing.. you feel the cool breeze, you see the Andaman Sea, the lotus pond, you smell the essence oil, you feel the great hands massaging your body.. so relaxing that my boyfriend actually felt asleep.

Unique Qualities: Besides the tremendous environment, the technique of the theropists were of high quality too.. it was the best massge i even had..

but of cuz.. all of the above reflect on the price i paid..... -_-" truely a once in a life time experience.. cuz i dont think i would ever gonna pay that much of $$ for that again..

Next time I might try and stay in Evason as it's located in a quiet corner of Phuket, but the downside is.. I couldn't get any night life..
