"A Road Trip of Heaven" a Valencia Travel Page by Conflictrealms

Me and my uncle travelled to Valencia. We jounreyed by car from London, so as you can imagine, it was a long road trip! we left at 11am at night for dover (I never got to watch the ending of Hornblower! i was watching it before we left). We got to france in the early hours of the morning and drove around 200km before hitting paris, for a nap. An hour later, we set off for some hard driving. We went through Paris, Orleans, and continued south for around 10 hours, before coming to the Pyranees. after another rest, we continued. We were soon in spain, which then took another 8 hours before getting to our destination....Valencia!

I stayed near a town within Commidad Valencia called Llíria, and it is about 20 minute drive from the city centre. Valencia itself is so much more bigger then i expected! It is also one of my favourite cities. It is so historical that you almost feel you are living 3 centuries ago! Well, if the cars and stuff wasnt there! The city is also very clean, probably the cleanest I have seen. I will be back in Valencia soon. And am looking forward once again!

When I stayed in Valencia, I slept in a Villa near a town called Lliria, which is about 40KM from the town. The scenery ws beautiful, and the neighbours were very friendly, which is what most of the spanish people I met were like. When I wanted to go into the city, I would walk down the road, and pay my 30 cents to get a bus into civilization!
