A must for the Adventurous

by Bruss - last update: Apr 1, 2004

Vancouver

Granville Island
One of the most exciting and fun cities I've been, a must for the adventurous, array of people, harbours, skycscrapers, coastline and Mountains. Bike riding, scating, skiing, snowmobiling, climbing, ice hockey, black bears and curious skirrels, make up a city of joy.
Mt Washington

Local mountains

Skied the 2nd day I was there 9am in the morning until 11pm at night, 5 mins from nth vancouver, about 30 mins from the city, ferry of bus. Hire and bike, or better still, buy a bike, some of the best technical down hill bikes made and distributed. Chargers, dudes who don't hold back, Black Bears that want you for breakfast and mountains that make you want more.

What else. Hm Canadians won't want me to give away too many secrets, for 'deep' powder, head far nth -alaska way, maybe interior of the west. You will work it out!!!!!

Whistler

3 months of powder is not enough. I need more! Expensive living, party times, plenty of people, get to understand the politics and rule the hill. Abide and you will succeed, do not and you will skiing without a pass!
Mt Cain
