Recent News but not the last | Sand Dunes National Park, Colorado |
Dear VT visitors, My life took its turn toward busy life of a law school student. I appologize if I do not respond your emails in timely manner. But remember I try my best to check my mailbox sometimes, so I can answer your question about places you are interested in and I know something about. i hope I will be able to get some hours during winter break to continue some of my tips. Cheers. July 14 Visited Cheyenne, Wyoming. July 8 Tour to Great Sand Dunes National Park, Colorado. Pages are coming soon. |
| Biltmore Estate, Ashville, North Carolina |
| | Travels of 2007 June 30-July 1 we spent travelling to Mesa Verde National Park. I have received a lot of excitement from this place. I loved it. My pages are finished, and you are welcome to have a look. June 10 - June 16 We hit the road toward Tennessee and North Carolina to visit our relatives. 20 hours drive with short stops for a tiny bite in the fast food restaurants, and we arrived to Knoxville, TN. For a week on the east coast we have visited: * downtown of Knoxville, TN * Biltmore Estate, North Carolina * downtown of Nashville, TNPages about those travels are on their way. Check them out in a couple of days. May 29 I almost finished my Manitou Springs page. This is a small town near Colorado Springs, to which I have a lot of warm feelings, and I am not sure why. I think, because this town is so far from crowded city, it is quiet and nice to walk in. May 19 and 20 To get more material for my VT pages we made a short travel to Colorado Springs, Boulder, and Golden. To my great surprise we found a lot of interesting places and things that never noticed before. Pages will come soon. May 17 - finally I finished two of my pages: Niagara Falls & Toronto, Canada You are welcome to check them out. May 13, Sunday - The day was beautiful warm and sunny, so we decided to make a cultural trip to Denver's historical places. They were two houses museums of Byers-Evans families and Molly Brown. Both houses are of a Victorian style with some original furniture and other things of the previouse owners. I have my tips on my Denver page. March Kiev, Ukraine New Year 2007 Waikiki Beach and Island Oahu, Hawaii |
| | Travels of 2006 2006 was very fruitful on travels. I loved it and I wish my trips to double in 2007. January - Dallas, TX I walked a lot; I saw a lot, I tried to take many pictures. Weather was merciful to me. Well, it was more humid and more clouds than in Colorado; however, it was really warm, except the last day I was there. You are welcome to look at my Dallas page and to get to know more about my travel. May - London, UKOn our way to visit my parents in Kiev, we stopped in London, UK, the country of fogs and rains. I didn't believe it is so rainy, but I felt it by myself, when all 4 days of our trip it was rainy, rainy, rainy and cold, COLD. We took some pictures, unfortunately they are not as bright as I wished them to be, but it is good memory. I am not sure I will devote a lot of time of writing about London on my page, because so many people do that so I don't think I will add something special; however, I want to write about my own experiences in London. You will see whether it worked. Kiev, Ukraine was cold and rainy as London was to us. No pictures were taken except friends' ones and relatives. I regret that I didn't take more pictures, but I will be back there. July Detroit, Michigan , Niagara Falls & Toronto, CanadaA week in Michigan on the end of July I spent visiting my friend in Detroit. We made a trip to Niagara Falls and Toronto without any planning. You will ask why it is unplanned. The answer you will easily find on the Niagara Falls page. Mountain Evans, CO Roxborough Park, CO |
My NEWS hoooorey.... I have a new PHOTO camera, my dearest friend Canon Rebel EOS. I am really happy about it. Now I have 2 books to read about photography. |
| | A little about myself I am Ukrainian-born girl who lived the most part of her life in Kiev, Ukraine. But now I moved to US. Yeap, a big step in the life of a young lady, who never traveled far from her lovely home and parents. But my adventerous nature helps me to strugle with my home sickness and other symptoms of it.
