There is really nothing on Jarvis. Therefore, it's important to bring supplies. At the least, bring solar panels, perhaps an inverter (unless you have DC appliances), a small desalination kit (there are no fresh water sources), a lot of food, seeds, tools (wire, twine, knife, axe, saw, shovel, fish hooks and poles, tarps, matches, glue, nails, hammer, water pump, etc), and first
aid kit.

• Pros:not crowded, ocean is steps away, no smog or traffic, panoramic view
• Cons:no utilities, no night life
