J'ai fait le voyage "un hiver, à Majorque" sur les traces de deux amants célèbres : Frédéric Chopin et Georges Sand.
Majorque l'hiver est moins fréquenté, et il m'a semblé que les touristes étaient peu sollicités.
Hélas, il est impossible d'oublier, que l'industrie touristique est le premier employeur de l'île.
Majorque est défigurée par les tour operators et l'industrie touristique. Les touristes sont entassés dans les hôtels au goût architectural contestable, emmenés par les opérateurs dans des circuits qui montrent les seuls aspects politiquement correct de l'île.
J'ai réussi à découvrir des places sauvages, et, comme c'était l'hiver, il y avait peu de gens. La balade dans la ville de Palma vaut le détour.

I succeeded in discovering wild places, and, as it was the winter, there were few people. The jaunt in the city of Palma is worth the detour.

J'ai refait le chemin qu'ils ont suivi, dans cette île dont l'écrivain dessine un portrait si noir. Pour ma part, résonnaient dans la tête des notes : les notes d'un piano qui a laissé s'échapper la musique d'un homme amoureux de sa maîtresse. Les notes d'un des plus beaux serment d'amour qu'il soit possible d'écrire.

Hello and Bon jour, Enjoyed your pictures and commentary! I am planning to go to Soller some time in February or early April. Will also devote some time to tracing Chopin's steps (as well as seeing the Miro Foundation).
I went here on my first ever trip abroad.As i was only 16 at the time i did not see all the wonderful things you did.I must be back and see the real side of the island.I t looks superb
