Region Midi-Pyrennees

by Klod5 - last update: Oct 31, 2004

First region of France by its surface (45348 km2), Midi-Pyrenees are as big as Denmark and bigger than Belgium, Switzerland or Netherlands.
Le Comminges
By its extent, its diversity, its historic wealth, its potential intellectual and industrial, Midi-Pyrenees occupy a strategic place so much to the national level that to the European level.

Around its regional metropolis, Toulouse, Midi-Pyrenees gather a network of middle cities and zones marked at a time by their differences and their complementarities.

Of the Pyrenees to the buttresses of the Central Massif, plains and small valleys, mountains and trays, lakes and rivers, causses and piémonts bring their specificities and their appeals.

Big space country, country of water, country the well - live and country of tradition, Midi-Pyrenees are a region to the big to become.
