The hill of Belleville knew a very different destiny according to the centuries. Royal domain under the Mérovingienses, at the XIVth century, inns and guinguettes argued the place.

In top of the popular district of Belleville, the garden, where one cultivates the grapevine again, dominate the capital.
You will be able to admire the point of view there, and a garden to the quiet alleys, filled of scream of the children of the district that come to play there. The floors are ornament by numerous vivacious plants, in mixed borders, or in large stains as in the romantic gardens.

  • The garden of the Place des Vosges, is the area of games of the children of the district. It is often a garden all simple, with its alleys in crosses, its chestnut trees and its public benches where come to sit down the moms or the nurses, of the students au pair.
The tradition wants that it is one places where the young men come to court the ladies... but at the hour of the mobile telephones, Internet and women emancipated, I have the impression that this kind of customs disappears!

The garden of the Trocadéro is frequented very by many young that come to make the skate or rollers, to soak itself in the basins in summer, or to tan himself on the lawns. It is therefore one of the least quiet gardens of Paris! On the contrary, it is THE places where have it comes to unwind, to appear and often, to make the feast.

The park is decorated by numerous statuaries... we will come back there!

  • Paris - Le Champ de Mars
  • by Klod5

The Champ de Mars is to the foot of the Tower Effeil. As much to say that it is THE most known garden of Paris, at least, the more frequented by the tourists. I would yet like that he learns to know it, that they discover it shortly before or after their visit to the big lady of iron. The visit of Paris doesn't limit itself to the climbing of the Tower Effeil and to the cases of boutiques of luxury of the Ist precinct...

In the district Monceau, this garden is essentially frequented by the neighboring building inhabitants. It is a superb garden, very expenses in summer, and very pleasant.
The amateurs of plants will be able to admire beautiful rare tree specimens there, and the basin, arranged very well will delight the children. As biggest part of the parks and gardens of Paris, it is a supervised place and very sure.
