Quelques pieds de vigne de pinot meunier (Champagne) et de chardonnay (Bourgogne), rappellent le passé festif de la colline, tout en haut du parc.

Il y a toujours beaucoup de monde au jardin du Luxembourg. Derrière le bâtiment du Sénat, le vaste parc est très agréable, avec ses nombreux bancs, ses allées au soleil ou à l'ombre, son école d'apiculture et son immense bassin. Le parc est décoré par de nombreuses statues... nous y reviendrons !

Le Champ de Mars est au pied de la Tour Effeil. Autant dire que c'est LE jardin le plus connu de Paris, tout au moins, le plus fréquenté par les touristes. J'aimerais pourtant qu'il apprennent à le connaître, qu'ils le découvrent un peu avant ou après leur visite à la grande dame de fer. La visite de Paris ne se limite pas à l'escalade de la Tour Effeil et aux caisses de boutiques de luxe du Ier arrondissement...
