I have visited the island Bornholm three times. First time was with my school in 7. grade (1991), where we took the ferry from Copenhagen and stayed in a hostel in Svaneke.
Second time I visited was with my family in 1996. We took the ferry to Sweden and then drove to Ystad where we took another ferry to Bornholm. We stayed in a Bed and Breakfast in Gudhjem.
Last time was in May 2008 as a part of my job as a schoolteacher. I was leading a tour of my 6th graders for a week. We had a great time, staying in Svaneke. In fact it was the same place I stayed at with my own school back in 91.
I haven't come around to add photos from this last trip yet. |
